The Covid-related pandemic has disrupted the rhythms and working methods in all sectors, and the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations This public financial institution, which manages, among other things, the funds held in the Livret A account, has a highly diverse work environment today, with some employees working onsite and others working from home.

It is in this context that the Caisse des Dépôts turned to talenco to help managers deploy new forms of management – essential in the new working contexts – and to develop the commitment of their employees, their participation, and their creativity.

Florence Rochette, Head of the University of Management At the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, we have heard his testimony about the support system put in place by the experts at talenco on topics related to’Management innovation and new methods of collective animation.

Hybrid work

What are your expectations regarding management?

Florence Rochette: We needed it Supporting our managers, But also to offer them the opportunity to shake up their practices a little, to make them more innovative and thus meet their need for power. change their team-building and meeting-facilitation methods, innovate and that they can completely appropriate them.

We went through some training in visual management and leadership. Design thinking – and not just as a tool – but truly as a management method, a modality that allows managers to innovate in their practices.

Your choice of the talenco firm?

Florence Rochette, Head of the University of Management at the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations

FR:The understanding the context The teams from talenco were exemplary. They offered us Various formats various formats, long, short, etc., in distance learning or in person, that completely met our needs.

There were a lot of audacity in the choice but also in the treatment of the topics, and we really liked that.
We were also really impressed by the Profiles of the participants which were offered to us.
And finally, the principle of learning through experimentation It completely met our expectations within the framework of our tender.

Florence Rochette (Caisse des Dépôts)

Yours feedback on the device?

We received responses, recommendations, and advice. That is truly the strength of talenco: this ability to listen to our expectations, a Very operational response to our needs and also this role of advisory and support, Not only the training teams but also our managers in the training courses they attend.

The feedback we receive from participants is of several kinds:

  • from the part of the managers (who are already very comfortable with the new modalities and practices of managerial leadership, for whom the lean coffee, the Design thinking and visual management is part of their daily practices…), they were able to find in these training sessions what to renew their practices;
  • For others, for whom this was not a natural practice, they were able to learn the new techniques of collective animation and to experiment and adopt methods and tools.

This training in agile management This is an offer I recommend, especially for the wealth of profiles of the trainers, their expertise and their ability to truly respond in a very operational way to the needs of the managers who follow the modules.

Your vision of « The future of work » ?

FR: I believe we are moving towards a generalization of working remotely, In different contexts, in different places... The role of the manager will therefore inevitably evolve towards goal-oriented management. Managers will have to develop trust in their teams and adapt their practices to remotely evaluate their work.

The role of the collaborators It will also change and evolve towards more autonomy, more responsibility. They will have to better quantify and objectify their activity and, like them, they will have to trust their manager.

Remote work is a testament to trust. The teams that performed well during this period of confinement were those where there was already a certain level of trust.
