The digital revolution is everywhere. According to the European Commission, 90% of professions have a digital dimension. So how do we digitalize? How do we transform and evolve our profession? How do we adapt to the new consumer habits?
We met Audrey and Sergio. Both of them decided to adapt their profession as communicators to the digital world and followed our certification course in Digital Communication.
The beginning of a new adventure
Audrey and Sergio have both been working in communication for more than fifteen years.
Both of them are witnessing significant changes within their respective missions. Audrey, Communications Manager at AGEFOS PME, is aware of the rapid evolution of her profession. Developing her digital presence and modernizing her brand image has become essential for her company.
As for Sergio within the digital team of MySaveur.com, His duties range from community management, From content production to promotion. He wants to have a holistic view of digital, expand his knowledge to give a new impetus to his job and to My Saveur.
In agreement with their management, they embark on this adventure: to train themselves to adapt to the changes in practices, and to develop their skills.
Each has distinct operational objectives when integrating training.
“I wanted to validate the practices implemented within my company. We did this in an artisanal way. But we wanted to professionalize our practices” Sergio confides.
Audrey testifies:
“I wanted to know and master the tools, but also to disseminate more effective messages, in order to boost the image and the reputation of my company.”
Both chose to train with talenco and join the digital communication certification cycle.
“The proposed training met my expectations in terms of both content and functionality. The fact that it is conducted in person is a real plus,”, Sergio tells us
Audrey added:
«The reputation of talenco, specialized in digital, and the program, which met my expectations, naturally confirmed my choice.»
Operational and strategic benefits
After 6 months of training, 2 days a month each, Audrey and Sergio came out of it professionally grown and inspired for the future.
“Beyond operational knowledge, the training also focuses on the overall strategy for digital communication. This leads us to reflect on our own strategy: what goals and what solutions to achieve them?” Share Audrey. “This training allowed me to put into perspective the editorial line implemented within MySaveur.com. Was the strategy right? What should we improve? Do I have the right objectives? We return to the company with many ideas and practices in mind,”, Sergio testifies.
The training opens up new strategic perspectives and develops the participants’ curiosity. It also allows for the optimization of the practices implemented.
Sergio tells us:
“I increased the number of subscribers on our YouTube channel thanks to online advertising while keeping costs under control. But also, I manage my community better; I applied all the advice given during the training.”.
The same goes for Audrey:
«After the training, I professionalized my practices, notably by implementing actions to better know and adapt to my community (setting up KPIs, AB testing…).
And what about today?
Without a doubt, taking the training has allowed them to improve their daily lives and feel better equipped for other projects. Both of them tell us that the certification training in Digital Communication has allowed them to evolve both professionally and personally.
Audrey and Sergio give advice to future participants regarding the final presentation before the jury:
“Anticipate and have a subject in mind very early on to project yourself into each module”.
The final word is given to us by Audrey:
“The training is very enriching and we would like it to last longer! The professional and personal exchanges between trainees also continue after the course thanks to the creation of a WhatsApp group.”
