In what context and for what need were you looking for training in digital marketing?
Isabelle: I was going through a professional transition. Previously, I was the Head of Digital Communication at the French Navy. I had also worked in marketing, particularly in HR recruitment. I wanted to turn the experience gained in that role into training expertise.
I also wanted to strengthen and upgrade my knowledge to complement my experience. I was looking for a certification training to build up a certain amount of expertise in my field of expertise.

Initially, I was more interested in a training program that would allow me to meet other people, with a «promotional» mindset.
The circumstances related to Covid meant that the course took place remotely. However, being a small class meant that we were able to build connections with each other even through a screen, as the modules progressed. The support and follow-up provided by the instructors also helped to create this sense of closeness.
What are the strengths of this digital marketing certification for you?
Through its organization, the planning of the modules, the completion of the thesis, the defense, etc., this cycle is aimed at all types of audiences, whether seeking employment, in transition, or already working. This is one of the strengths of the training.
In your opinion, what is the purpose of the dossier and the defense before a jury?
I won’t hide the fact that the dossier is a significant workload, but it also has its advantages: it allows for a better assimilation of the knowledge acquired during the training. It’s an important investment, but one that is worth the certification that one obtains at the end.
Presenting this report to a jury puts us back in a professional context. It allows us to compare our work with the eyes of professionals. It’s quite rewarding.
What is the impact of this training on your professional development?
Following this training enabled me to stay committed to the field of digital marketing throughout a period of transition.
This training allowed me to adopt a new perspective, opening up the field of possibilities. Today, I am thinking about entrepreneurship. It has given me a solid foundation that is consistent and complementary to my initial training. Moreover, the fact that it is a certification course is a guarantee of seriousness and recognition in professional life.
